Schools also publish their 'School Offer' with details of their provision for special needs, which will then be linked to the Local Authority website.

St Mary’s Catholic Primary School is an inclusive school.
St Mary’s views each individual child as unique and special.  We believe that all children, regardless of their learning needs, should be treated as individuals who have a right to an education that allows them to fulfil their academic, social and emotional potential. We believe that by providing equal opportunities, effective teaching and learning, nurture and encouragement we can support our pupils in becoming capable, confident and independent learners to the very best of their abilities.

Mrs Andrea Cull manages and organises the special needs provision at St Mary's. 

The person who leads and manages special needs provision is often refered to as a SENCO or SENDCO.

Swindon SEND Familes Voice

Swindon SEND Familes Voice support families by hosting free workshops and support groups, answer questions one to one over the phone, online or in person and are a listening ear whenever needed. Click the picture for a link to their website.

Nessy

Nessy programs are designed to help students of all abilities learn to read, write, spell and type, especially those who learn differently. If your child has been given a Nessy account the activities can be completed at home too. Click the picture for a link to the website.

SIAS

The Special Educational Needs and Disability Information Advice and Support Service (SIAS) provides free confidential and impartial advice and support about matters relating to Special Educational Needs or Disability (SEND).
