Curriculum Statement
Community is the golden thread that is woven throughout our curriculum.
We aim to nurture a life-long love of learning, where children are excited to come to school, confident to embrace new experiences and are enthusiastic learners who take pride in themselves, each other and their achievements. We aim to educate and inspire our children to be the leaders of tomorrow, enriching them with opportunities to make a difference to their own lives and those around them.
Centred around our Gospel values, our bespoke curriculum has been carefully designed to serve and reflect our diverse and vibrant community of love, celebrating many cultural and social influences, whilst seeking equity of learning for all our children. Our curriculum continues to evolve, strengthened by the principles of Catholic Social Teaching. We know it is important that our children understand the challenges that shape the modern world, and the power they have to make positive change, be it environmental, political or social.
We ensure that the children have a broad, balanced and rich curriculum that includes a variety of memorable learning experiences ensuring that knowledge, understanding and skills are progressive and built upon. By establishing positive relationships with each other and our community, we create a happy, healthy and safe environment so our children will go into the world open and receptive to learning and growing throughout their life.
